I just returned from a short family trip and will do my best to give you a bell before returning overseas on business. I highly recommend Gerrie at Hunt in Africa to anyone and albeit, I have not hunted with the PH you mention below, as former co-owner of WorldHunt International, life member of SCI, and a fellow Aussie sportsman that has hunted around the globe will say that Gerrie goes above and beyond anyone I have known when it comes to not only screening the PH and outfitters he represents, but assures the clients get what they are promised.
I was told that for all of his life, Gerrie himself was a PH and as I understand has hunted or work with all of the operations or PH's he represents. Unlike many of the hunting consultants that I know who might meet these blokes at a hunt show, draw up and contract and may go as far as a short visit, he has a deep working relationship with the people he represents.
Super accommodating and hence the reason I am now trying to narrow my 2009 dates for my Cape Buffalo and Leopard hunt with Gerrie and another PH he represents at Kolobe Safari's.
I will be speaking with Gerrie soon and as a personal note, if I had to grade Gerrie as compared to others, in North America, New Zealand, the UK and Kazakhstan, I would rate him an A+ for satisfaction, delivering what was promised, best value for my money and assistance after the hunt in helping with the shipment of my trophies.
